Overview
Stancor Aerospace supplied 4340 / 300M Aircraft Quality in 60 mm to 320 mm diameter for Vacuum melted 300M and 4340 bar quenched and tempered to the ordered property class in India, released against EN 10204 3.1 certification traceable to the heat and lot, with heat treatment records.
The challenge
The customer needed Vacuum melted 300M and 4340 bar quenched and tempered to the ordered property class that arrived to the ordered specification and size, on the build or shutdown slot, and fully traceable to a heat number — with the test records attached rather than promised.
What we did
We released Per release of 4340 / 300M Aircraft Quality in 60 mm to 320 mm diameter, inspected before despatch, marked with the heat and part reference, and shipped against the programme with EN 10204 3.1 certification traceable to the heat and lot, with heat treatment records and the ordered test and inspection reports in one document pack.
