AMS 2750 Pyrometry
The aerospace standard governing furnace temperature accuracy — surveys, instrument calibration and thermocouple control.
Every aerospace heat treatment is only as credible as the furnace it ran in. AMS 2750 fixes the furnace class, the temperature uniformity survey interval, the system accuracy test and the thermocouple replacement rules. NADCAP audits heat treatment against it. A mechanical test report without a compliant pyrometry record behind it is an untraceable number.
